Eureka Moments


What can you do now that you could not do before?

We asked our Learners to tell us about their Eureka moments. Here are just a few:

  • Formatting using MS Word.
  • Complicated referencing using MS Excel and MS Publisher.
  • How to do formulas.
  • Create auto text which I use throughout the course of the day.
  • Calculations.
  • Quicker copying and pasting. Count A. Creating forms. Using symbols.
  • I can't think of specifics but I have found it useful and really enjoy the weekly emails.
  • Email merges that we now use to distribute information out to Suppliers monthly. Additionally forms and Excel improvements.
  • Forms in MS Word.
  • Copy Formulas down using 'Fix' Keep Titles Visible on spreadsheets. Print part of a spreadsheet. VLOOKUPS - although need more practice!
  • Copy, pasting & cutting all Word documents as a whole.
  • Favourites in MS Outlook, Excel workings – numerous other things!
  • Better knowledge of Macros and Pivot Tables.
  • Better knowledge of formulas which help save time.
  • Pivot Tables.
  • Mail merge and various Excel tasks.
  • VLOOKUPS and various other Excel short cuts.
  • Searching in emails for relevant information.
  • Using MS Project.
  • Updated my Excel skills.
  • Some shortcuts and quicker ways to do repetitive tasks in Excel etc.
  • ALL aspects of Excel and a few functions in Word.
  • Better use of Excel and navigation around spreadsheets.
  • I can use Publisher and format all types of files to make them more appealing.
  • Have the ability to use time saving tools and also be able to access the relevant help.
  • It is more around speeding things up. I have found quicker ways of doing things with Bite Size.
  • Knowing certain functions exist will prepare me for future tasks.
  • Loads of different function in Excel and some in PowerPoint.
  • Learnt how to set up and work PowerPoint.
  • Understanding Relative references in MS Excel.
  • Quick shortcuts in Excel, templates for PPT and using Word with better efficiency.
