Introduce Me

mousestanding1.jpgMicrosoft PowerPoint : Creating Hyperlinks

A hyperlink can be used to move to another slide in your presentation, a  custom show, a web page or a file.

Tell Me

The hyperlink can be displayed as text, or associated with an object such as a picture. When the cursor is moved over any hyperlink during the slideshow, it becomes a hand symbol, indicating that you can click on it.

To create a hyperlink:
1. Select the text or object which is to be associated with the hyperlink
2. Select Insert menu
3. Select Hyperlink…
4. Select where the link is to be directed
5. Select OK

Hyperlinks only become active when the slideshow is running.

If a presentation containing a hyperlink is saved as a Web Page, the link will also work within the web page.
